The Face of AIDS

Today is World AIDS Day. It's the 20th year this date on the calendar has been set aside to raise awareness of the AIDS epidemic and to commemorate those who've lost their lives. Yet each year, we are besieged by the latest AIDS casualty figures (e.g.; the annual number of newly infected, an updated approximation of the number who have died). But rarely do we see the faces.

These are my two oldest brothers who were taken by AIDS. They died much too young.
